The M3-ATX is a smart, high power, vehicle (car/boat/electric cart) 12V DC-DC ATX PC power supply designed for CarPCs and battery (both 12V and 24V) powered applications.

Versatile
Designed to provide power and to control the ON/OFF switch of a motherboard (CarPC) based on ignition status, the M3-ATX is a wide input (6V to 24V) vehicle/car/battery operated ATX power supply capable of surviving tough car engine cranks (down to 6V) as well as transient over-voltage situations. Just connect it to and power up your PC!

Accessories
The M3-ATX comes equipped with ATX/HDD/SATA cable harness, jumpers, faston connectors and 2 pin cables for motherboard ON/OFF switch. A 4 pin-P4 cable is available separately (please see the related items section)

Smart Power Management
Even if your computer is turned OFF, a PC will still consume a few hundered milliwatts, which is needed to monitor PC ON/OFF status. When a computer is in the suspend/sleep mode, it will consume even more power, because the RAM needs to be powered at all times. The power consumption in the suspend mode is few watts. No matter how big your car battery is, it will eventually drain your car battery in a matter of days.

The M3-ATX has 8 user selectable microcontroller driven timing modes, allowing you to choose up to 8 ignition/shutdown CarPC timing schemes via a built-in shutdown controller. By removing all user-selectable jumpers, the M3-ATX becomes a traditional PC PSU with no ignition control (shutdown controller bypassed) and it can be used in non-vehicle computer applications.

No More Dead Batteries
While in deep sleep mode, the M3-ATX constantly monitors your car battery voltage levels, preventing deep discharge situations by automatically shutting down (using a built-in shutdown controller) until battery levels reach safe levels again.

NOTE: The M3-ATX provides up to 8A on the 12V rail, making it ideal for operating most Core 2 Duo, P4, P4-M, Celeron, ADM systems. Low power Geode and VIA processors (C3, C7) will work as well, leaving ample power for 12V or 5V peripherals (multiple 3.5" hard drives, CDROM, etc).
NOTE: This unit does not provide -5V power.

The M3-ATX works with the following motherboards:

Please check your motherboards specifications and make sure that the CPU is not getting V(core) from the 12V rail (should be on the 5V rail).
