How to Solder the P4-ATX cable to your PW-200 Series PSU

Some motherboards, such as ones with an Intel Pentium 4 processor, require additional power. This is provided through its ATX12V port, which has 4 pins (2x2). With a P4-ATX cable, you can provide this additional power with your PW-200 series PSU.

You can solder the P4-ATX cable to your PW-200 series PSU yourself by following the instructions below. Make sure you're comfortable with soldering and that you have a voltmeter.

  1. Look for 4 holes in a row to the right side of the ATX connector.
  2. Turning the PW-200 on its back, solder the wires in the following pattern:

    Black, black, yellow, yellow.

Follow the yellow that is already soldered on the board. (Any black and any yellow can go on any order, but it must be black, black, yellow, yellow)
