Troubleshooting/Frequently Asked Questions

M1-ATX

Q: How many watts of output does the M1-ATX support?
A:
The M1-ATX supports up to 90W. It comes equipped with an ATX, HDD and Floppy cable harness, jumpers, faston connectors and 2 pin cables for motherboard ON/OFF switch. Just connect it to your 12V or 24V car / boat / RV battery and power up your PC.

Q: Which motherboards will the M1-ATX work on?
A:
The M1-ATX supports all VIA mini-ITX boards, Versas and some low power Pentiums and AMDs. Please check your motherboard specifications and make sure that the CPU is not getting V(core) from the 12V rail but from the 5v rail instead.

Avoid motherboards with 4-pin 12V ATX connectors as it is an good indication that the motherboard is using 12V for V(core).
